Principal

Since arriving at OLGC at the beginning of 2025, I have felt warmly welcomed by the community. The community is friendly and inclusive and there are a number of opportunities for parents to be involved via the parents association and school advisory council. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and keeping active with Pilates and training with weights.

Working at OLGC is a privilege, as it means being part of a strong and vibrant community where staff and families partner together to achieve excellence in learning and wellbeing. The supportive parent relationships and the dedication of my colleagues make it a pleasure to come to work each day. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my young family, experiencing life through their eyes, and keeping active and healthy.

Since arriving at OLGC at the beginning of 2025, I have been warmly welcomed into the school community and have enjoyed getting to know the students and their families. It is a supportive, friendly and inclusive environment where everyone is dedicated to strengthening learning, wellbeing and faith within our students. I enjoy communicating and collaborating with parents to support their children as well as working with such wonderful and enthusiastic colleagues. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching movies and travelling and visiting new places.

Working at OLGC for over 20 years has been a truly rewarding experience. The sense of community, the supportive and dedicated staff, and the joy of watching students grow in both faith and learning have made every day meaningful. I feel grateful to be part of a school where values are lived out daily, where families and staff work together, and where the spirit of care and connection is at the heart of everything we do. Being part of this journey for so long has been a privilege and a blessing.

I love working at Our Lady of Good Counsel. Being front desk I get to interact with our beautiful school community who warmly welcomed me from the start. I love my interactions with the children and enjoy getting to know them. The staff are a wonderful team to work with and always willing to support and assist others. Outside of school my two children keep me busy however I do make time to go to the gym and catch up with friends on the weekends for a coffee or wine.

I have worked at OLGC for many years – too many to count! What I enjoy most is the variety of my job, interacting with teachers, leadership, children and parents. Being part of OLGC is very rewarding and I especially love it when I meet past students in the community – hearing their stories, what they’re up to and reminiscing about their time at OLGC. I feel a sense of pride in their achievements. When I’m not at work I enjoy travelling and cooking for friends and family.

Angelique supports the wellbeing of all staff and students at OLGC. Outside of school, Angelique likes to go for slow walks, play with other dogs and balls. She also likes to eat sticks and all food in general.

Since beginning at Our Lady of Good Counsel in 2024, I have witnessed many positive developments across our school community. It is a privilege to be part of such a warm, welcoming and faith-filled environment, where students, families and staff genuinely support one another. I feel incredibly grateful to work with students who bring enthusiasm, curiosity and joy to the classroom each day. Building meaningful relationships and supporting each child’s growth, both academically and personally, is the most rewarding part of my role. Outside of school, I enjoy reading fantasy novels, gaming and spending time with my dogs.

I am passionate about helping students achieve positive outcomes in their learning and wellbeing. Seeing them grow in confidence and develop new skills is the most rewarding part of being at OLGC. I enjoy working together with the staff and love seeing Angelique, the school’s Companion dog. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being a mum to my son and our dog Rosie. I also love being creative with arts and crafts and cheering on the Tigers in football.

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work at OLGC and contribute to the learning and development of all our wonderful students. As a Learning Support Officer, I am most fortunate to work alongside our dedicated and knowledgeable staff to assist in developing our learners to reach their full potential. It is most rewarding to be part of such a supportive, dedicated, positive and faith filled environment. Outside of school, my interests include cooking, reading and travelling as much as possible!

In 2026, I returned from maternity leave and am excited to be back! I have explored different positions during my time here at OLGC, but this year I get to focus on my passion, mathematics, and will be the intervention Mathematics teacher. Outside of school I love spending time with my family, especially enjoying opportunities to play outside or head down to the beach. I’m looking forward to another year of working with the beautiful children and supportive staff, which have continued to draw me back to OLGC for 14 years!

Being an art teacher at OLGC has been a wonderful experience. I am constantly inspired by the children’s creativity and love seeing them explore new ideas and express their artistic selves. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy exploring new places with my family, friends, and our beautiful Italian mastiff, Daisy. I also have a passion for creativity and enjoy working on DIY projects around the house.

I love working at OLGC because our kind students and amazing staff feel like family. Everyday brings new moments of joy , laughter and learning together. When I’m not here, you’ll find me creating art, arranging flowers, or traveling the world to explore new cultures and meet wonderful people.

I feel incredibly lucky to be part of the OLGC community. The staff I work alongside are supportive, positive and always willing to collaborate, which makes coming to work each day genuinely enjoyable. There’s a strong sense of teamwork among staff, and that carries through to everything we do. I also love how enthusiastic our students are about sport and physical education. Their energy, competitive spirit and willingness to challenge themselves make every lesson fun and rewarding. Seeing students grow in confidence, develop new skills and represent the school with pride is something I really value.
Outside of school, I enjoy staying active and looking after my health by going to the gym regularly. Fitness is a big part of my life, and I enjoy setting personal goals and challenging
myself. I also love playing tennis whenever I get the chance! It is a great way to stay competitive and social at the same time. When I’m not being active, I enjoy relaxing, playing video games and catching up with friends. Whether it’s heading out for dinner, watching sport or just spending time together, I really value that balance between work, fitness and social time.
