Since arriving at OLGC at the beginning of 2025, I have felt warmly welcomed by the community. The community is friendly and inclusive and there are a number of opportunities for parents to be involved via the parents association and school advisory council. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and keeping active with Pilates and training with weights.

Being an art teacher at OLGC has been a wonderful experience. I am constantly inspired by the children’s creativity and love seeing them explore new ideas and express their artistic selves. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy exploring new places with my family, friends, and our beautiful Italian mastiff, Daisy. I love working at Our Lady of Good Counsel. Being front desk I get to interact with our beautiful school community who warmly welcomed me from the start. I love my interactions with the children and enjoy getting to know them. The staff are a wonderful team to work with and always willing to support and assist others. Outside of school my two children keep me busy however I do make time to go to the gym and catch up with friends on the weekends for a coffee or wine.

I have worked at OLGC for many years – too many to count! What I enjoy most is the variety of my job, interacting with teachers, leadership, children and parents. Being part of OLGC is very rewarding and I especially love it when I meet past students in the community – hearing their stories, what they’re up to and reminiscing about their time at OLGC. I feel a sense of pride in their achievements. When I’m not at work I enjoy travelling and cooking for friends and family.
