Since arriving at OLGC at the beginning of 2025, I have felt warmly welcomed by the community. The community is friendly and inclusive and there are a number of opportunities for parents to be involved via the parents association and school advisory council. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and keeping active with Pilates and training with weights.

Being an art teacher at OLGC has been a wonderful experience. I am constantly inspired by the children’s creativity and love seeing them explore new ideas and express their artistic selves. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy exploring new places with my family, friends, and our beautiful Italian mastiff, Daisy. I also have a passion for creativity and enjoy working on DIY projects around the house.

I love working at Our Lady of Good Counsel. Being front desk I get to interact with our beautiful school community who warmly welcomed me from the start. I love my interactions with the children and enjoy getting to know them. The staff are a wonderful team to work with and always willing to support and assist others. Outside of school my two children keep me busy however I do make time to go to the gym and catch up with friends on the weekends for a coffee or wine.

I have worked at OLGC for many years – too many to count! What I enjoy most is the variety of my job, interacting with teachers, leadership, children and parents. Being part of OLGC is very rewarding and I especially love it when I meet past students in the community – hearing their stories, what they’re up to and reminiscing about their time at OLGC. I feel a sense of pride in their achievements. When I’m not at work I enjoy travelling and cooking for friends and family.

I feel grateful to be part of a school where values are lived out daily, where families and staff work together, and where the spirit of care and connection is at the heart of everything we do. Being part of this journey for so long has been a privilege and a blessing.
